The action of a golf swing should be to push the club back on the back swing and pull down on the down swing and all should be done with predominately the left arm (weak arm). If you use your strong right hand to pull the club up and push it down on the down swing you will never get the club head into the correct position at impact. To demonstrate this, if you stand at address and swing the club with your left weak arm you will find that on the back swing there is full turn of the upper body and shoulders also there will be a better arc in the swing. 

In contrast to this if you swing the club with just the strong right arm you will not get the shoulders to turn correctly and wind up like a spring ready to release. So if you can strengthen your weak left arm and release the right hand pressure on the golf club slightly it will improve your consistency. Because a naturally right handed person has to use their weaker arm to control the golf swing you could say that golf is an unnatural and left handed game. If you are strong in both arms equally you probably might find using your left hand to dominate your swing that much easier. 

I was having problems with my swing such as, instead of swinging the club I would chop down onto the ball, I couldn’t get any distance and occasionally dig into the ground. My swing was basically unreliable until I stopped trying to power the golf club with my strong right arm and concentrate more on my left arm. So, if you are a naturally right handed person and having problems with your golf take a close look at which arm is controlling your swing. Also, if you use your strong right arm on the back swing you will never get control to your correct left arm on the down swing.
